Hege started crocheting in 2023 after getting a crochet gift for Christmas. Over time the hobby became Crafted for Comfort as she started designing patterns and attending markets.
Alwyn started Relic Works late in 2024 after being hassled by Hege to create horns and antlers for her plushies. To begin with, Relic Works had six horn designs plus the Cubone kit collaboration with Hege. We now have more than double the options thanks to new designs and colour options.
We met at a house party at university in 2015 and bonded over our love of LOTR, we still haven’t outgrown that. Our two small and, for tax purposes, very separate business are run out of a single room (definitely not in our flat) in Manchester UK.
